Belizean Pork Tamales

Miss Hoares Belizean Style Pork Tamales, 

Belizean Pork Tamales are cooked to my Belizean Mother in Laws recipe, Pork is cooked in a Recado Sauce till tender, it is then placed on a Corn Dough the remaining sauce is then thickened with corn meal and poured over the meat, the Tamale is then wrapped in a Banana leaf and then tin foil and steamed for 2 hours till cooked.

Best served with a nice salad and a good slosh of belizean fire hot sauce, Always eat them hot
