Mexican style Tamales, the street food of Mexico and Southern States of the USA. A spicy filling is covered in a Corn Dough (masa) then wrapped in a Corn Husk and steamed for around 2 hours. I use Fresh Chillies and Recado to cook my Tamales in, it gives a nice rich red colour and a very unique flavour. Once they are cooked about 90 mins I vacuum seal them and freeze ready for shipping. We supply our Mexican Tamales packed and sold in pairs to reheat either microwave for 2 mins when defrosted or steam for 20 mins. This very tasty snack is great with a nice crisp salad or rice, very nice. Two Tamales makes a nice meal with some nice Salsa and some salad.
