Tamales Online was started in October 2009, Marten the owner and driving force behind Tamales Online is married to a Belizean Lady and has visited Central America many times and just loves the food. Tamales are one of his favourites and when back in the UK he found it almost impossible to find this very tasty snack . The solution make them for himself and his wife

His wife loves the Belizean version which is larger and more succulent really a sit down job served with some Rice and Beans or Salad. The Mexican versions are easier to eat on the move being a more solid construction.

He is surprised that in the UK Tamales don’t seem to be well known, and is aiming to introduce them to the UK public.
